This shrub is a light syrup with a sweet & sour taste. Shrubs are an old-fashioned product, a drinking vinegar used in small quantities to make a refreshing drink! Try a Haskap Berry Sparkler by mixing 3/4 oz of the shrub with a glass of 1 1/2 oz of gin, 1/2 oz lime juice, and 1 1/2 oz sparkling white wine!
